Your Profile

First, fill out your profile (wecannetwork.org/user/me). Your profile is your home base on WeCAN.

When you edit your profile after making your account, there are a lot of sections you could fill out. But don't worry! The vast majority of them are optional. Also, personal information like your street address and phone number(s) are only visible to registered WeCAN members. We never reveal your e-mail address.

Note: Although "Personal contact form" under "Account Settings" is an option, we strongly suggest that you leave this box checked. This form is a secure way of sending e-mail to you without revealing your e-mail address. This is how people who would like to join WeCAN will contact you.

Tools

On the left of your screen, you'll see a box labeled "Tools". This box holds the things that you'll use frequently.

Add a New...

This is a quick menu for adding new content to WeCAN.

Invite a New Member

WeCAN membership is on an invite-only basis. This is so that WeCAN can be a close-knit community. For more information read the text in the "Guidelines" box.

Map of Members

Find out where the WeCAN members are by looking on the map of members. You can add yourself to the map by editing your profile.

Calendar

The calendar will display all events that have been posted to WeCAN. It can also be filtered by tags and by groups/projects.

Forums

WeCAN has a collection of forums, from everything to specific questions to general chit-chat. There is also an entire forum devoted to translations. If you need something translated, or would like to work on a translation of WeCAN, that is the place to go.

Skillshare

WeCAN members are a highly-skilled bunch of people. If you need help with a project, or if you would like to offer your services, please consider submitting a skill or a need.
